A functional turntable platter mat cut from genuine French Alran Sully goat leather. Designed to reduce static charge, absorb micro-vibrations, and support your records without requiring complex tonearm height adjustments.
Key Features & Functional Benefits
- Anti-Static Performance: Leather naturally suppresses static electricity build-up, helping keep dust out of record grooves and preventing the mat from clinging to the LP when lifted.
- Vibration Dampening: Absorbs motor and bearing micro-vibrations without dulling playback, offering a clean, balanced sound and suppressing unwanted platter resonance.
-
Low-Profile 1.2mm Thickness: Serves two practical setup needs:
- Standalone: Sits lower than standard 3mm factory pads, offsetting the added height of heavy 180g or 200g LPs to keep your tonearm level without VTA adjustments.
- Layered Contact Surface: Can be placed directly over an existing rubber or cork mat, or onto a bare acrylic platter, to add a clean, anti-static contact face.
- Dual-Surface Grip: Features a finished top grain face to support the vinyl evenly and a natural suede underside that holds firm against metal, glass, or acrylic platters.
- Clean & Simple Design: Replaces worn felt or industrial rubber with a neat, low-profile leather surface that fits seamlessly into any audio setup.

Material Details
Alran Sully is a vegetable-assisted, chrome-tanned goat leather produced by Tanneries Alran in France. Known for its distinct pebbled grain and firm temper, it maintains structural rigidity and lays flat on the platter without curling over time.
Care Instructions
Wipe the top grain surface occasionally with a soft, dry cloth to remove resting dust. Store flat and keep away from direct exposure to water or excessive moisture.
