Large Leather Modern 2-way Helmet Tote

Our modern helmet tote bags were inspired by nylon made helmet totes used by pilots in the air force to carry their helmet and gear. We modified the design from the traditional helmet bags, removed the zipper and added a simple brass snap button. Being made from top quality leather instead of nylon, our modern helmet tote is not only practical but is also very casual, making it suitable for everyday use.

The Modern Helmet Bag is made from top quality Italian Minerva Box vegetable tanned leather. The leather has a gorgeous grain pattern and a supple texture. The handles of the tote is made from thicker and stiffer natural vegetable tanned leather, secured by copper rivets. Stitching is entirely saddle stitched by hand, ensuring the durability of the tote bag. The bag features a removable shoulder strap which not only allows you to hand carry the bag, but to use it as a shoulder bag as well.

Being made from vegetable tanned leather, the leather would start to develop patina the moment you start using it. Vegetable tanned leather would darken and develop a beautiful patina when exposed to sunlight. The leather would also become shinier as you use the bag, as the leather rubs against your clothes.
