About the leather:

Minerva Box Leather
Minerva Box Vegetable Tanned Leather comes from the Badalassi Carlo Tannery in Italy. They are well known for their premium vegetable tanned leathers and the beautiful colors are able to produce.

Natural Vegetable-tanned Leather
Made from wonderfully tanned vegetable tanned cow leather. Vegetable tanning is a traditional way of tanning using tannic acids naturally found from plant species. The natural appearance before painted, has a slightly brownish tinge over a beige color, with a natural, woody and earthy smell. Due to the nature of the tannins, a unique patina will develop and "carmelize" over time.

Sleek Pocket Planner

My pocket planner binder has gorgeous natural pebbly leather on the outside, perfectly spaced stitching, a chunky strap, and gold poppers to match gold Krause 20 mm rings. Looking forward to the patina that will develop with use and enhance the look and feel of this product. Very impressed with the quality of leather and workmanship. The only thing I would change would be to add some elastic on the back of the pen loop to accommodate different pen sizes.

Superb craftsmanship!

This is my second time ordering a leather planner from Colin. The high-quality, soft and textured Italian leather, as well as Colin's superb craftsmanship, always impress me. I'm now coming to eternalleathergoods website more often than going to Gillio, Chic Sparrow and Van Der Spek. Hopefully, Colin will design more layouts of his leather planner (e.g. adding a big back pocket, etc.) and add more colours to his leather in the future. I will definitely come back and purchase more items!
