What is Roughout Leather?

Roughout leather is full-grain leather used in reverse. Different from suede leather, roughout leather retains the skin side of the hide, which is also the part that provides strength to the leather. As a result, it is much more expensive than suede leather and also much more durable. This is why roughout leather is often seen in high-end work boots.

How will the leather age?

You can expect the leather to become fuzzier as you use it. And just like all vegetable-tanned colors, you can expect lighter colors to age and darken over time.
