A classic bifold wallet made from the highest quality leather available from the inside out, this wallet is done completely by hand with saddle stitching and hand-burnished edges and bevels. Made from Shinki Hikaku shell cordovan leather outer and Hermann Oak leather interior, it features six card slots, two hidden slots, and a bill compartment—enough for all of your daily necessities. The stitching is reinforced at the stress points so it won’t come apart, even with a good yank.

Shell cordovan leather is available in 7 colors, please check out the last photo of the listing. We offer color choices for the exterior and interior so you could mix and match the leather colors to create a two-tone wallet. About the leather:

Shell cordovan is an equine leather made from the fibrous flat muscle (or shell) beneath the hide on the rump of the horse. Since the shell's fibers are the densest among the hide, shell cordovan is known for it's strength and flexibility.

Hermann Oak started when founder Lewis Charles Hermann began tanning leather in St. Louis, Missouri in 1881 to facilitate the local harness trade. Since, three more generations of Hermanns have followed in Lewis’s footsteps. Though the Hermann Oak tanning process hasn’t changed much over the years, they’ve been able to adapt to modern necessities. Using the finest natural tree bark, their tanning liquors offer richness and texture. The leather is soaked in ground-vats until firm, strong, and tight—and fit to last a lifetime.
