Sie sehen eine Aktentasche, komplett handgefertigt aus den besten verfügbaren Ledern. Außenmaterial und Griff der Aktentasche bestehen aus englischem Zaumleder von Sedgwick & Co. aus Großbritannien. Innen und Innentasche sind komplett mit italienischem Buttero-Pflanzenleder ausgekleidet. Der abschließbare Verschlussmechanismus von Amiet und Messingbeschläge garantieren eine lange Lebensdauer. Jedes einzelne Teil der Aktentasche wird sorgfältig zusammengesetzt und vollständig von Hand vernäht. Jede Aktentasche erfordert tagelange Arbeit.

Über das Leder:
Das traditionelle Zaumleder von J&E Sedgwick wird von Hand mit einer Wachsschicht veredelt. Das Leder hat eine sehr glatte Maserung mit minimalen Abnutzungsspuren. Es ist auch in verschiedenen Farben erhältlich. Bitte kontaktieren Sie mich, wenn Sie andere Farben wünschen.

Buttero pflanzlich gegerbtes Leder stammt aus der italienischen Gerberei Conceria Walpier. Sie ist bekannt für ihr hochwertiges pflanzlich gegerbtes Leder und die wunderschönen Farben, die sie produzieren kann.

Beautiful but pricey

The briefcase I received is almost exactly as pictured: the only difference was an ungraded buckle I requested. I chose this briefcase because saddle leather is generally durable, this case is relatively small and lightweight, and it has no liner. The price is on the high side, but the craftsmanship seems good. One important thing I wish I had known is that because of the way the leather is cut, water can easily enter the bottom of the case. Any documents inside are not well protected from the weather. I had expected the body of the case to be sealed--as it is on every other briefcase I have seen--but it is not. You can see the gaps in the sixth picture above, but you can't see that they open directly into the body of the case. I did not recognize this problem when I ordered, so I wanted to call attention to it here. The pockets inside are quite tight, but I like them that way. Overall, this is a very beautiful case, big enough for anything I need to carry, but stylishly minimal and lightweight.
