This wallet is the little brother of our classic billfold, designed to fit smaller bank notes. US and Candian bank notes would fit perfectly in this wallet, yet having a slightly smaller footprint. Crafted with a combination of top-notch leathers, the wallet is done completely by hand with saddle stitching and hand-burnished edges and bevels. Made from a piece of Shinki Hikaku shell cordovan leather outer and natural vegetable tanned cow leather interior, it features two card slots and a hidden slot on the left, a coin pocket, a card slot and a hidden slot on the right—enough for all of your daily necessities. The stitching is reinforced at the stress points so it won’t come apart, even with a good yank.

Color choices:
The outer piece of shell cordovan leather is available in 7 colors, please check out the last photo of the listing. We could make the exterior of the wallet in any shell cordovan colors are shown in the photo matching it with natural Hermann Oak interior.

About the leather:

Shell cordovan is an equine leather made from the fibrous flat muscle (or shell) beneath the hide on the rump of the horse. Since the shell's fibers are the densest among the hide, shell cordovan is known for its strength and flexibility.

Made from wonderfully tanned vegetable tanned cow leather. Vegetable tanning is a traditional way of tanning using tannic acids naturally found from plant species. The natural appearance before painted, has a slightly brownish tinge over a beige color, with a natural, woody and earthy smell. Due to the nature of the tannins, a unique patina will develop and "carmelize" over time.
